How and when can I contact the Customer Care Center?

Our Customer Care Center is at your disposal Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm (excl. Bank Holidays) under telephone number Fon 0870 043 3794 (0,09 GBP/min). Outside these times there is an answerphone available, where you can leave a message. We will call you back the next workday. Alternatively you have the option of using our free Call Back Service on our website. Besides this there is the Contact Form, which you can use for questions and ideas.

Do I need a certain browser to be able to shop in the acer Store?

No, the acer Store functions with all available browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox & Mozilla Navigator, Netscape Browser, Opera, Konqueror, Safari). You have to allow cookie settings in the security settings of the browser.

How do I find an article I want?

Our offer is structured in the Catalogues " Accessories-Products " and "Warranty-Products", which you can access via the navigation bar at the left. In addition you can avail of a search option.

You have the opportunity of browsing around the shop and putting goods that interest you into the shopping cart, without any obligation to buy. You can change the number of articles in the shopping cart and also remove products you no longer want. Use the "to Checkout" button to access the ordering procedure.

I am interested in a certain product and would like help in my decision.

Our Customer Care Center is at pains to be a competent partner in technical questions and purchase decisions. First of all, please note the detailed product description in our online shop.

How do I order in the online shop?

If you wish to buy the articles in the shopping cart, select "to Checkout" and follow the practical guide helping you to order.. All data you enter during the order procedure is coded by SSL technology and cannot be viewed by a third party.

If you are shopping with us for the first time, you have to register with your user name and password. Afterwards you specify your delivery address and if necessary an invoice address that may deviate from this. This data is automatically available for every later order and does not have to be entered anew.

You can pay in the acer Store by credit card. After sending the order, you receive a confirmation e-mail. A contract is validated only with the express acceptance by ACER or, at the very latest, with the shipment of the goods, or the activating code for guarantee-products.

In the "My account" section you have the option of getting information on the status of order processing through your order number.

Is my data secure when ordering online?

Your personal data is coded by SSL technology. Information thus communicated cannot be viewed by a third party.

Can I also order in another way, not through the Internet?

Besides online ordering you also have the option of ordering through the phone by contacting our Customer Care Center.

What extra charges can I expect for an order?

When buying a guarantee product, there are no shipment costs for you. These products consist of a licence code, which we send to you via e-mail.

For shipping accessory products, we calculate shipment costs of x GBP.

How quickly are the ordered articles delivered?

For credit card payment we only send articles to the address of the card owner, so as to avoid credit card misuse. If the delivery address deviates from this, our Customer Care Center will get in touch with you. The required checking procedure delays the shipment of the articles by approximately one day.

I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

You can use the "Forgot Password" button in the "My account" section to request your password, if you have forgotten it. You have to enter your user name to do this. We then send you your password to the e-mail address you registered with.

I think the price of a product is too high and would like a discount.

Because of the tough price competition in the IT trade, our products are already calculated very tightly. But if products are ordered in bulk, we are glad to consider the possibility of a price reduction. Please contact our Customer Care Center in this regard.

The device is defective. What warranty claims do I have?

All goods bought in the acer Store are covered by the original Acer manufacturer's warranty. For more details, please refer to the product and warranty information enclosed with the goods.

Questions about the order

I have chosen a product in your shop, but it is unfortunately not available at the moment. Can I still order it?

If the specification "not immediately available for delivery" appears next to the product, the desired goods are at the moment not available directly from storage. Our Customer Care Center is glad to advise you in selecting an equivalent product.

My place of residence is not in United Kingdom. Can I still order in the acer Store?

This acer Store delivers only within the United Kingdom. Placing an order from outside the UK is not possible. However, other country-specific acer Stores are available. You can access an updated overview by selecting the relevant national flag at top right of this shop, or directly via store.acer-euro.com .

My specifications are not accepted when entering the address in the ordering procedure.

Occasionally - and unfortunately - the address check system might obstruct the correct input of your data. In these cases, please contact our Customer Care Center, which will respond to your call and correct the error.

I have activated an order today in the shop and would now like to change the number of articles.

After completion of the order process, the number of ordered articles can unfortunately no longer be changed. But you can cancel the old order at our Customer Care Center and submit a new order with the desired number of articles.

I haven't yet received an order confirmation for my order.

There may have been some technical problems or errors in entering your e-mail address, which prevent the correct assignment of the order confirmation. Please contact our Customer Care Center to find out if your order has been received as appropriate and your order specifications are correct. If necessary , we will cancel the old order and process a new order.

Can I cancel an order?

Of course you have the option to cancel your order. Please contact our Customer Care Center. Have your order number at hand.

Questions about payment

What types of payment are acceptable in the acer Store?

You can pay in the acer Store by credit card. We accept credit cards from Eurocard/ MasterCard and VISA.

Payment by credit card

We accept credit cards from Eurocard/ MasterCard and VISA. During the ordering procedure, select the "Credti Card" .payment type. In the last step of the order you enter your credit card data. This is registered and stored by our partner CompuTop Wirtschaftsinformatik GmbH and only communicated to the companies involved in the payment process. The acer Store does not store the credit card data in its memory. The payment process is protected by a strong and secure SSL coding system. The Pay Gate server of CompuTop and the work method are aligned to the PCI security standard of the credit card institute.

Debiting your credit card account takes place within 5 days after ordering.

Why was my credit card already debited, although I have not yet received any goods?

Debiting your credit card takes place within 5 days after ordering. Usually the goods have already arrived at the customer's by the time debiting has taken place. But because of sudden delivery problems there might be delays in shipping the goods. We will inform you by e-mail if this occurs. If you have any other questions, please contact our Customer Care Center.

What does "Electronic Invoice" actually mean?

The acer Store uses a very convenient method of issuing your invoice in electronic form. You are sent the invoice as PDF in an e-mail. At the same time you can access it at the "My account" menu item for downloading onto your computer. The shop does not send any invoices by post. Questions about delivery

I haven't received any goods yet, although the availability time limit specified in the shop has already been exceeded.

Delays in shipment may occur because intensified demand cause delivery problems. Please contact our Customer Care Center in such cases to receive more detailed information on the availability of the article.

The goods I have received from you are not complete.

If despite all quality control procedures an erroneous delivery occurs, please contact our Customer Care Center. For subsequent delivery of the missing parts we require your order number. Please have it ready.

Questions on returns

I would like to return the ordered goods. What must I do?

You can revoke your contractual declaration within two weeks without specifying reasons in text form (e.g. letter, e-mail). The time limit starts with the reception of the sales and services object, i.e., either the goods or the digital activation code and the contract documents, but certainly not before receiving this declaration. The revocation period is sufficiently maintained if the revocation or the goods are sent within the time limit. The revocation including your order-ID is to be addressed to the Customer Care Center of the acer Store either by e-mail to service-uk@store.acer-euro.com or by phone: 087 00820107 (0,0803 £/min.). Please contact the Customer Care Center by the last day of the legal return time limit and specify the order number. Place the goods in the undamaged original packaging and package them carefully. If you no longer have the original packaging, please provide suitable packaging for sufficient protection against transport damage.

Right to Cancel in terms of the AcerAdvantage Warrantee Extension expires as soon as you have claimed services for the first time within the scope of the AcerAdvantage service contract. This is carried out correctly within the stipulated time limit when the revocation is addressed to the Customer Care Center with specification of the contract designation and the digital activation code.

In case of an effective revocation, mutually received services are to be granted back and, if necessary, drawn assets (e.g. interest) paid out.
